Training at LINQ Recruitment Specialists

Our 12 module Academy training programme, delivered by Mike McEvoy, gives you all the tools and skills to become a first class recruiter. This is a structured programme, combining theoretical and practical training, which takes into account the different learning styles that each individual learner has. This covers everything from “Interviewing and Screening Candidates”, “Preparing a candidate and client for interview”, “Winning new business” through to “Mindset Management” and “Organisation and Day Planning”.

Our 6 module Advanced training programme, develops our Consultants to move into Senior & Principal Recruitment positions. This will build on skills you’ve already learned and demonstrated, as well as teaching more advanced sales and recruitment techniques. This covers elements such as “Selling Retained Search”, “Winning Repeat Business” and “The Contract Onion”. Whilst this programme is run by Mike McEvoy, we also include other members of the Senior Leadership Team to bring different perspectives to the table.

LINQ’s Management Development Programme is a platform for our Future Leaders to develop their management and leadership skills, so they are ready to start mentoring and developing Future Superstars. Our 7 module training programme, combines a mixture of internal and external training, including “Leadership Profiling”, “Performance Management” & “Handling Difficult Situations”. Our cohort also receive additional one to one mentoring from Directors, as well peer support to share best practice.

Career passport

We have an extremely transparent career passport, where all promotions are based on merit. We don’t believe in holding anyone back, so if you hit the criteria set out to progress to the next level, then we will promote you! We also offer routes into Senior Management from both a sales and a management focus.
